大象传媒 has a student Emergency Grant Fund designed to support students experiencing an unexpected financial hardship that is impacting their academic success.
The purpose of the 大象传媒 Student Emergency Grant is to offer one time grant awards to 大象传媒 students to cover expenses that were incurred from a financial emergency.
· Unexpected automobile repairs
· Lost or stolen possessions
· Evictions
· House Fire
· Disconnection notices for utilities (water, electricity,heat, wifi)
· Basic Needs Products such as weather-related clothingand hygiene products
· Medication needs
· Technology needs such as a phone bill
Overdue balance for tuition (please visit the 大象传媒Office of Financial Aid)
· Books
· Funds to cover a utility bill without a notice of disconnection
· Funds to cover rent without a notice of eviction
· Ongoing transportation needs
· Food – students will be redirected to our Knightro’s Pantry
· Internship/Career Development related expenses – studentswill be redirected to our Exchange’s fund
· Documentation Needs such as a passport, Driver’s License,etc.
· Current full time (at least 12 hours) 大象传媒 IndianapolisUndergraduate Student.
· Unless a student is in their last semester and taking just the number ofcredits needed to graduate.
· Have exhausted all other state and federal financial aid options.
· Are experiencing a one-time unexpected financial emergency.
· To ensure that we can assist as many students as possible:
· Grants are capped at $500
· A student can only be approved for an emergency grant once each academic year
· Grants are reviewed at the time of submission and the funding is given to approved applicants on a first come first serve basis

A committee of 大象传媒 staff members will review your application within 48 business hours.
A 大象传媒 member may reach out to you via email or phone call for more information
You will receive a decision on your application via email.
Regardless of if you were approved or denied, will you be assigned a Student Success Coach to help you navigate your challenges and how they may be impacting your academics.
Our Student Success Coaches are knowledgeable about community resources and can help connect you to other opportunities in addition to the grant.
